There will be Mass at 9:15 a.m. this Friday, July 26, 2019 to celebrate the Feast of Saint Anne.

The festivities have begun. Mass at 4PM, and then an outdoor reception under the big tent. The celebrating will continue throughout the weekend concluding with a special concert at 3PM Sunday afternoon on the Town Green. Come join us for any or all over the festival events.

Celebrating 40 years of gathering around the Altar of the Lord, sharing his Word and breaking bread in the Eucharist. In gratitude of all that has come before, and in awe of what God will do in the years ahead. Happy Anniversary Saint Anne Parish. May our patroness continue to interceed for you before the Throne of Grace for the work and mission of spreading the Gospel.

This 1669 painting by Rembrandt has always been a favorite depiction of the prodigal son story where he returned to the father’s open arms. But after the celebration was done, what happen? Was the love of the father received with a true conversion of heart or did the son just go back to his former ways? I guess each day we’re given the opportunity to write our own end of the story….
